 Yoga or practice is an ancient method of keeping the body and mind healthy. In fact, yoga is not just exercise, but the real meaning of the word yoga is consciousness.

1. Anna means Mayakosha or the body formed through food.

2. Mano Mayakosha or that which refers to our mind.

3. Prana is Mayakosha which refers to the body's power or energies. These are the three physical parts that we can experience. The other two are not visible which we cannot feel. When the above three work in balance, we can experience the other two. The other two are-

4. Vignam Mayakosha or science or means special knowledge that is beyond our five senses.

5. Ananda Mayakosha or Bliss is non-physical that we only experience.

So the purpose of yoga is not to make the body healthy. Rather, creating a union between the physical and the non-physical by bringing everything together. So that you can happily give your highest performance in all fields.


Asana and its precautions

Human life is our greatest achievement. We have got body, mind and soul as our existence. This integration of our body, mind and soul is called yoga.


By regular practice of yoga, the diseased body becomes disease-free and healthy and the healthy body becomes more vigorous and fresh. The restless and anxious mind becomes calm.

In this state we can control the calm mind with the intellect and our body responds in sync with the mind. When the restless mind becomes completely free and calm through the continuation of yoga, we realize our 'soul.

Veer Bhadrasana

Raised Padmasana

Reduces excess belly fat, brings great strength to hands, nourishes arm and shoulder muscles


Gomukhasan

Asana is particularly beneficial in male enlargement of the testicles, arthritis, diabetes and gynecology and relieves arthritis and gout.

People suffering from heart disease, high blood pressure and back pain should not do this asana. People who use glasses to see near objects should not do this asana. This asana should not be done even if you have a cold or cough.
